Happy Thursday LPE Families!
Did You Know?
- DCSD is one of the only districts in the country to have met or exceeded our 2019 (pre-pandemic!!) scores in every subject and every grade.
Next Friday is the final professional development day of the 2023-2024 school year. Our teachers will be introduced to a writing strategy called SRSD that can be integrated into our Benchmark Reading/Writing curriculum as well as our Envision math curriculum. Teachers will also be finalizing end of year data and reflecting on their PLC (Professional Learning Community) process this year. After lunch (provided by two community members - Danielle Wainwright and Cynthia Laudick), the staff will be heading over to Legend High School to listen to Erin Kane's State of the District Address.
We can't thank you all enough for the support you have given your children and our staff this year. We truly appreciate it and can't wait to celebrate the end of the year with all of you. Have a great long weekend. We'll see you all next week!
