Student Lighthouse Council: Students in grades 2nd-5th can apply to be in SLC at the beginning of each school year. SLC organizes school events, assemblies, creates announcements and works within the community.  SLC works within the framework of the Leader In Me, where students choose which action teams to work on.  Action Teams could include Video Announcements, Assembly Team, Special Events and Mentor Team. 

PE Club: PE Club is offered in the fall and spring for all students.  The cost is $20 and all money goes toward the purchasing of new PE equipment. Students will participate in all types of games, activities and sports.  There is a emphasis on leadership and sportsmanship in all activities. 

Choir: Choir is offered in the fall and spring semesters. Students work with Mr. Whincop to choose songs for their performance.  Choir is open to all 3rd-5th graders and will meet before school on Thursday mornings 

Band and Orchestra: Band and Orchestra are offered through the Colorado Chamber Orchestra. For more information: https://www.peim1.org/

Crazy 8's:  Crazy 8s is a math club unlike any other! It offers unique, high-energy math activities that appeal to kids of all math abilities. The club is designed for after-school programs in schools, libraries or other community centers where kids come together to have fun.

Destination imagination: Destination Imagination (DI) is a project based, kid-driven program that teaches kids to be innovative problem solvers. Using STEAM, teams of students collaborate, think outside the box and create unique solutions to one of seven different challenges in preparation for a fun, problem-solving competition.



Battle of the Books: Battle of the Books is a bowl-style trivia tournament that's all about books, engaging hundreds of young minds every year. Sponsored by Douglas County Libraries.
