Extra Curricular Activities

Student Lighthouse Council: Students in grades 2nd-5th can apply to be in SLC at the beginning of each school year. SLC organizes school events, assemblies, creates announcements and works within the community.  SLC works within the framework of the Leader In Me, where students choose which action teams to work on.  Action Teams could include Video Announcements, Assembly Team, Special Events and Mentor Team. 

PE Club: PE Club is offered in the fall and spring for all students.  The cost is $20 and all money goes toward the purchasing of new PE equipment. Students will participate in all types of games, activities and sports.  There is a emphasis on leadership and sportsmanship in all activities. 

Choir: Choir is offered in the fall and spring semesters. Students work with Mr. Baxter to choose songs for their performance.  Choir is open to all 3rd-5th graders and will meet before school on Thursday mornings 

Band and Orchestra
